“Every Excel sheet I created in WFM was a puzzle—and I always wanted to dig deeper.”
For over a decade, I worked in the Workforce Management (WFM) and Management Information Systems (MIS) field, managing large volumes of data, optimizing schedules, and supporting operational decisions in the call center industry.
I loved working with data—but I always knew there was more I could do. I wanted to shift from just reporting numbers to truly analyzing them. That’s where my journey into Data Analytics began.
🧩 From Reporting to Understanding Data
In my WFM role, I built dashboards, automated reports using VBA Macros, and helped leadership understand performance metrics. But the tools were limited—and often, I felt we were answering “what happened?”, but not “why it happened?”.
That curiosity drove me to explore Python, SQL, and Power BI.
🎓 My Learning Path
In 2024, I took a big step. I enrolled in a Data Analytics certification program (from Pw Skills) to formalize my skills in:
- Python for data analysis
- SQL for querying databases
- Power BI for creating interactive dashboards
- And other tools like NumPy, Pandas, and Jupyter Notebooks
Every project I built brought me closer to my goal.
💡 Why Data Analytics?
Here’s why I chose to pivot to this field:
- It’s future-proof – demand is growing across industries.
- It lets me do problem-solving, not just reporting.
- It’s a natural extension of my WFM/MIS experience.
- I can help businesses make smarter decisions.
If you’re from a reporting, operations, or customer service background like mine, data analytics is not out of reach. You already work with data—you just need to learn how to look at it differently.
🚀 Why I Started Digital Infovision
As I learned, I realized there were hundreds of others like me—skilled in operations, Excel, or reporting—but unsure how to break into analytics.
That’s why I created Digital Infovision.
Here, I’ll share:
